MAXIMIZING USE OF LIMITED RESOURCES

Producing a diverse range of electrified vehicles helps us to maximize our use of limited battery resources, and in turn reduce
carbon emissions.  For example, while All-Electric Vehicles have some of the lowest carbon emissions compared to their hybrid and
gas counterparts, the same amount of battery resources used to produce one All-Electric Vehicle can produce 90 Hybrid Electric
Vehicles, resulting in an overall greater reduction of vehicle carbon emissions at the times when battery materials are scarce.

MORE ELECTRIFIED VEHICLES ON THE ROAD

There are a limited supply of critical minerals to produce lithium batteries.  By spreading out these limited resources across
Hybrid (HEV), Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) and All-Electric (BEV) vehicle batteries, we can produce more low emission vehicles.  The materials
needed to produce a battery in a single long-range BEV can be spread into approximately 6 equivalent PHEV batteries or roughly 90
equivalent HEV batteries.  We believe it's important to diversify our portfolio so you can have the freedom to decide how you'd like to drive change.
